Works of Art

There is no better opportunity for children to use self-expression, creativity, fine motor skills, scientific principles, and ownership than “process art”.  We do A LOT of process art here at Good News.  We also do plenty of crafts as well, as that has its valuable lessons too such as following directions while using fine motor skills.

You will see our halls decorated with both crafts and process art throughout the year.  Please realize that what may look like a glob of paint to you is actually a child learning textures, colors, cause and effect, and is an expression of their creativity.  We encourage you to admire our works of art hanging on our new wooden frames.  When teachers are ready to send the artwork home with the children, they will put them in their cubbies, or hand them to you personally.
